US-backed SDF militia kidnaps 10 citizens in Hasakah countryside

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia on Saturday kidnapped 10 citizens from several villages in the countryside of Hasakah as part of its continuous repressive practices towards the locals in the areas under their control in the Syrian Al-Jazira region.

Local sources told SANA that groups of SDF militants, backed by several armored vehicles and helicopters affiliated to the US occupation, cordoned off the villages of Okaz, Akrash and Safana in Hasakah eastern countryside, stormed into the houses, kidnapped 10 citizens and took them to unknown places.

In the same context, local sources in Tal Hamis town said that the American occupation forces kidnapped three young men from one family and took them to unknown destination, causing a state of anger among the locals who hold a demonstration and closed the main road, demanding the release of their sons.

Under this pressure, the SDF militia and the US occupation forces were forced to release the three young men, the sources added.
