Under the threat of arms, the US-backed separatist militia, called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Sunday asked the families resident in al-Omran neighborhood in Hasaka to evacuate their houses within the coming 48 hours in implementation of the US occupation scheme in this area, local sources told SANA reporter.
The aggressive behavior, which comes a day after groups of SDF militants seized dozens of apartments in other neighborhoods in Hasaka, will leave tens of families homeless.
The families expressed their absolute rejection of the SDF militia’s criminal practices against the locals that aim at displacing them under the threat of arms. They stressed that these acts come in implementation of the instructions of the American occupation which wants to completely evacuate all the government and residential buildings near its illegal bases regardless of the fate of the dozens of families that will be displaced.
The families called for halting the SDF militia’s practices and for mobilizing all potentials to put an end to criminality of the militants against the people.
According to local sources in Hasaka, the SDF militia has deprived children from education after it seized the schools and turned them into military points and after it imposed new curricula based on its separatist ideas.
The SDF militia also displaced dozens of families, repeatedly raided several towns and villages, kidnapped and imprisoned many young men and imposed levies on the locals.
On Saturday, SDF militants seized 16 apartments that belong to the water projects in al-Nashwa Shrei’a neighborhood. They asked the residents to evacuate their places and threatened them to use arms if they refuse to leave.
In another development, two SDF militants were killed in separate attacks by unidentified persons in the countryside of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor.
SANA reporter quoted local sources as saying that, unidentified persons shot dead an SDF militant in a market in Markada town, to the south of Hasaka.
The sources also said that another SDF militant was killed when unidentified persons opened fire at him in al-Jurthi town.
According to the sources, a car affiliated to the SDF militia was also targeted by an explosive device planted along the al-Omar oil field road to the east of Deir Ezzor. The attack resulted in the injury of the militants inside the car.
Attacks, carried out by unidentified person against US-backed SDF militants in the countryside of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor, have been escalating amid the growing popular rejection of the presence of the SDF militia and the American occupation forces in the Syrian al-Jazira region.
