US-backed “Qasad” militia kidnaps three young men from AL-Raqqa countryside

Al-Raqqa, (ST) – As part of their continuous criminal practices against civilians, the “Qasad” militia backed by the American occupation forces kidnapped a number of young men in the areas of its deployment in the city of Tabqa in Al-Raqqa countryside.

Local sources reported to SANA that, armed groups from the “Qasad militia” kidnapped three young men after they raided a number of civilians’ houses in the second district of Tabqa city and took them to an unknown destination.

The sources indicated that the militia gunmen have carried out a systematic kidnapping campaign at checkpoints that they have suddenly set up in the streets and crossroads, targeting the youth of the region to force them to carry weapons and fight in its ranks.

In recent weeks, armed groups of the “Qasad militia” raided most of the villages and towns in the countryside of Al-Hasaka, Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqa, and kidnapped dozens of young men to take them to their own camps and to force them to fight in its ranks to serve their agendas associated with the American occupation forces in the region.
