US-Backed “Moderates” Launch Toxic Gas Attack in Aleppo Neighborhood, 7 Civilians Martyred

LATAKKIA, (ST)-A toxic gas attack by “Nour Eddin Zinki” terrorist movement, considered to be “moderate opposition” by Washington, claimed the lives of 7 civilians in Salah al-Din neighborhood in Aleppo. More than 20 other people also suffered suffocation cases and inhalation burns as a result of the attack, a Russian military source said on Wednesday.

According to Chief of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimem, Lt. Gen. Sergei Chvarkov, the attack came from al-Sukkari neighborhood where Nour Eddin Zinki terrorists have positions.

“Nour Eddin Zinki” terrorist movement comprises mercenary terrorists from different nationalities and is linked to Erdogan regime which facilitates the entry of terrorists and weapons into Syria across borders with the purpose of carrying out terrorist attacks and crimes against the Syrians.

Chvarkov said the Russian Center for Syrian reconciliation has informed the American side about the terrorist toxic gas attack.

He added that some 400 civilians including 76 children used safe corridors, set by the Syrian authorities, to get out of terrorist-controlled areas in Aleppo, noting that 94 gunmen also laid their weapons down.

However, Chvarkov said, the terrorists keep preventing the locals of eastern Aleppo neighborhoods from leaving their places, threatening them of being killed.

“the situation in Aleppo is still difficult as gunmen continue to target several areas in Aleppo, including the Castello Mall and the al-Layramoun district with rocket fire and mortar shells.
