US-backed militia seeks to spread illiteracy in Syria’s Hasaka

HASAKA, (ST)_Teachers and students of “Tal Hamis” school compound in Hasaka countryside on Tuesday protested against the seizure of schools and their closure  by US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia.

The protesters gathered in Farfarah town and raised banners that call for the expulsion of US and Turkish occupation forces and reopening the schools that were closed by the SDF militia [Its Arabic acronym is QASAD].

They affirmed that the continuity of  school closure by the US-backed militia will prevent children from their right of education.

The SDF militia has closed about 93% of the schools in Hasaka province and it has prevented the students from pursuing their education in an attempt to spread illiteracy and backwardness among the people of the province to serve the agendas of the US occupation.
