US anti-Russia measures are driving EU into the abyss: Dzhabarov

First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council’s Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov has stressed that the sanctions imposed by the United States on Russia are driving the European Union (EU) to an abyss from which it may not be able to get out.

He was commenting on the EU’s announcement that it offered a new package of sanctions against Moscow.

According to Ria Novosti, Dzhabarov said  that “the EU has announced the preparation of the seventh package of sanctions against Russia. I wonder what they are trying to achieve? After all, they themselves already know that these measures will not stop Russia on the path to our just cause of de-Nazis and disarmament of Ukraine.”

According to the Russian legislator, the “zombification of Europe” is happening again. In the late 30s, they were “zombized” by Adolf Hitler by participating in a crusade against Russia. The Senator added that now the Americans are trying to do that.

“Do Europeans really not understand that the US is pushing them into an abyss that they can never get out of? Wait, Europeans, you are rational people,” said Dzhbarov.
