US aggressive and interventional plans

Humanitarian and medical aid has been one of the pretexts used by the US and its allies to violate international law and make military intervention against sovereign states with the aim of achieving sinister colonialist projects.  Members of Venezuela’s U.S.-backed opposition are collaborating with Trump’s administration to bring into the country tons of humanitarian aid and medicine. U.S. officials have repeatedly threatened Venezuelan forces who stand in the way and have described the aid as part of a strategy to oblige the military to defy orders and implement a US agenda.

Washington’s efforts to oust the democratically- elected  Venezuelan leader raise concerns because of the long  history of U.S. intervention in the Latin American states since the 19th century. The US military intervention in the continent started in Mexico long years ago . The Mexican-American War, which lasted two-years in the 19th century, ended with Mexico being robbed of  half its territory.

The conspiracy hatched against Venezuela aims at  stealing its resources and  changing its strategic stances. Free and peace loving people worldwide have expressed full support to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and their categorical rejection of the US interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs. Several nationalistic Syrian and Palestinian parties, organizations and figures   staged a solidarity pause in front of the Venezuelan Embassy in Damascus, expressing solidarity with the Venezuelan government and people, condemning the US blatant interference with domestic affairs of the Latin state. The participants affirmed their support for the Venezuelan people, who have always supported the just Arab causes, expressing complete rejection of the overt interference by the US administration in Venezuela’s internal affairs, which is a conspiracy to destabilize the country. They voiced complete  support for the government of the legitimate President Nicolas Maduro and  solidarity with the leadership and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in preserving the sovereignty of the country and foiling the hostile schemes which aim at toppling the legitimate government in this country and replacing it with a puppet authority that implements certain agenda in service of US President Trump’s greedy projects that aim at plundering the country’s resources and create chaos and internal conflicts among the Venezuelan people.

The US blatant interference along with a number of states in the internal affairs of Venezuela  is categorically rejected. dialogue is the only way to reach a political solution that respects Venezuela’s sovereignty and independence.

The Venezuelan leadership, government and people who have resisted the US tendencies of hegemony and arrogance, are today more able to confront and foil this renewable conspiracy and to preserve the sovereignty, independence and security of their homeland.

The latest developments witnessed in the friendly republic of Venezuela don’t pose a threat to the international peace and security in any way, as what is taking place in the country is a domestic affair, but they are trying to move it to the Security Council under the pretext that the situation in Venezuela threatens the international peace and Security. The international community should stop some reckless states which have exploited their permanent membership at the Security Council to achieve their colonial agendas.

The Security Council has adopted /30/ resolutions on the crisis in Syria till now and all of these resolutions affirm the independence of the Syrian Arab Republic and its territorial integrity, yet many states which voted in favor of these resolutions have been the first to violate them at the top of which is the US itself.

The US administration’s  intervention in Venezuela’s domestic affairs is a  flagrant violation of the international law principles and UN Charter.

The US polices in supporting and encouraging the terrorist acts and spreading chaos in order to undermine the legitimate institutions of the states is totally rejected. Those practices and the increasing inclination of the US to use force and resort to imposing the unilateral, coercive measures against sovereign countries  dangerously breach the principles on which the international system is based.

The USA uses different tools to achieve its policies in interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries, where it has depended in Venezuela on what it calls “opposition” to make riots that are contrary to the Constitution as a tool to destabilize the situation there. The so-called opposition uses some showy names and phrases such as democracy, freedom  and human rights to achieve the non-recognition of the President, who was elected by the same people, to promote for an unknown person to be a tool at the hands of Trump’s administration.

There is a need for stopping the US intervention in the affairs of other nations, including the Arab peoples, especially Syria. The US and its blatant intervention in the Republic of Venezuela   constitutes a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws and a shameless attack against the Venezuelan sovereignty.  The international law and conventions totally oppose such colonialist policy but the international community is still unable to stop Trump’s aggressive behavior.

The  destructive policies adopted by the US in different parts of the world and its disregard of the international legitimacy represents the main reason behind the tensions and the state of instability in our world which entails the establishment of a new world order that would restore respect to the international legitimacy and would respect the sovereignty and independence of the states and their national choices and would curb the hostile policies adopted by the current US administration.

The Venezuelan people who have resisted the approaches of hegemony and arrogance adopted by the US are more able toady to confront and undermine this renewable conspiracy and to preserve their country’s sovereignty and independence and to restore stability to it.

Earlier, the US made an attempt on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s life. The assassination attempt aimed at undermining the security and stability of the country.

The United States tries to hide its aggressive and interventional plans for Venezuela behind a draft resolution it proposed to the United Nations Security Council. The US presented a draft resolution to the Council, claiming that the White House sought international aid deliveries and presidential elections in Venezuela.

The United States has repeatedly said that military option still remains on the table regarding the Venezuelan crisis, infuriating the country’s President Nicolas Maduro, who accuses US President Donald Trump of plotting a coup against the government in Caracas.

The US draft resolution, however, drew a counter resolution from Russia that expressed Moscow’s concern for Venezuela’s territorial integrity and political independence, lambasting any attempts to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of Venezuela.

Venezuelan people are determined to foil the US conspiracy and repel the US colonialist interventional plans.
