US Accusations against Syrian Government of Using “Crematorium” in Sednaya Prison a Hollywood Narrative

DAMASCUS, (ST)-US accusations against the Syrian government of using a “crematorium” in Sednaya prison, in addition to the old allegations about using chemical weapons and barrel bombs are categorically incorrect, a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stressed.

In a statement to SANA on Tuesday, the source said “the US successive administrations have been keen on circulating fabrications and allegations to justify their aggressive and interventionist policies in other sovereign countries. Yesterday, the US administration prepared a new Hollywood narrative, that is disconnected from reality, in order to accuse the Syrian government of what it called “crematorium” in Sednaya prison” and of using chemical weapons and barrel bombs”.

“The government of the Syrian Arab Republic stresses that these allegations are categorically incorrect and they are made in the imagination of the US administration and its tools to accuse Syria,” the source added, pointing out that “Syria finds nothing strange in such remarks, because the US administration and its agents used to make such claims before every round of political talks whether in Geneva or Astana and because the intentions, goals and timing of these remarks are completely exposed to all”.
