Montevideo – Uruguayan President Luis Lacalle Pou on Friday received the Credentials of Dr. Sami Salameh as Syria’s non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Uruguay.
Salameh conveyed the greetings of President Bashar Al-Assad to his Uruguayan counterpart.
The Ambassador also met with the new Uruguayan Minister of Foreign Affairs Omar Paganini and conveyed to him the congratulations of Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad on Paganini’s new mission as foreign minister.
