Untimely Demise

The great never pass away; it is the nature of things on this earth which takes every human life ‏to the afterlife! In body, the late President of Syria, Hafez Al-Assad as well as of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, have both passed away.

Both Presidents have accomplished for their countries and people endless achievements: The Late Al-Assad transformed Syria from coups-plagued country into the stable secure Syria, Mandela from the apartheid into the South Africa of today.

It is the Resistance against all forms of the injustice  , corruption, occupation, class distinctions and poverty that has characterized the epic of heroism and steadfastness of Al-Assad and Mandela’s fingerprints in the course of Asia, Africa and world history.

”President Hafez Al-Assad was a dignified master of  Statesmanship at times of war as well as of peace. The interests of Syria have ever been the center and focus President Hafez Al-Assad’s life,” said the late Mandela.

On the untimely demise of another great hero, the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic has eulogized Mandela as the giant freedom fighter symbol of resistance and anti- apartheid, where the whole world has lost a leading freedom fighter, who struggled for freedom, justice and equality.

Indeed the late Mandela was the human inspiration for vulnerable peoples across the globe and would  remain an inspiration for the coming generations as the  symbol of resistance and liberation from apartheid, hatred, occupation and repression, representing a liberation movement of  struggle for freedom and justice and in embodiment of the conviction that rights will never be lost as long as there is a struggle for regaining  them. And indeed the aggressors and oppressors have to learn that they will be the losers no matter what their potentials might be.
