New York-(ST)- The United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) warned of catastrophic environmental and health dangers in Gaza Strip.
UNRWA said in a statement on x platform reported by wafa news agency that “there are more than 330,000 tons of waste accumulated in populated areas throughout the Gaza Strip, causing catastrophic environmental and health dangers.”
It added: “Unhindered humanitarian access and a ceasefire are necessity to restoring humanitarian living conditions in the Strip.”
