UNRWA: The Continuity of the Israeli occupation prevents it from delivering aid to northern Gaza Strip

Vienna,(ST)- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed today that the Israeli occupation continues to prevent it from reaching the northern Gaza Strip to provide food aid and basic supplies.

UNRWA confirmed that hundreds of thousands of displaced people in southern Gaza Strip suffer from lack of water, food, and medical supplies due to the occupation’s control over the entry of humanitarian aid through the crossings.

The agency recalled that 176 of its employees were tragically killed since the beginning of the war on Gaza at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces as a result of the violent bombing targeting homes, facilities, infrastructure and shelter centers.
