UNRWA: Children in Gaza Strip are paying the highest price for the ongoing Israeli aggression

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) affirmed that children in the stricken Gaza Strip are the ones paying the highest price for the ongoing genocidal war being committed by the Israeli occupation for the 292nd day.

Wafa  News Agency reported that UNRWA said in a post today on the “X” platform that Children are paying the highest price for the war in Gaza amid displacement and the fear of losing their childhood, considering that children must be able to be children.

In this context, UNRWA indicated that its workers continue to provide psychological, social and recreational activities to give children in Gaza Strip a sense of normal life as much as possible.

UNRWA warned on the 12th  of this month that Gaza Strip is on the verge of losing an entire generation of children if this war continues, explaining that more than 600,000 children in Gaza have not been able to go to school since it began, as the Commissioner-General confirmed.

Philippe Lazzarini told the agency last month that children in Gaza were dying from malnutrition and dehydration.
