OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, May 7, (ST)- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) on Tuesday warned that the humanitarian response across the Gaza Strip will be stopped if relief and fuel supplies are consistently blocked from entering through the Rafah crossing.
The Agency said on X that should these supply routes be disrupted, the already dire hunger that many people in Gaza, particularly in the north, are experiencing, will worsen.
“Continued interruption of the entry of aid and fuel supplies at the Rafah crossing will halt the critical humanitarian response across the Gaza Strip…The catastrophic hunger faced by people especially in northern Gaza will get much worse if these supply routes are interrupted,” UNRWA asserted.
