United States is the country that uses the most violence to achieve its imperialist goals, says Slovak Communist Party

Bratislava, (ST) – The Slovak Communist Party affirmed that the United States is one of the countries that uses the most violence and force through military interventions, organizing coups, and adopting a policy of unfair sanctions that kill people in order to achieve its imperialist goals.

In a statement, the party condemned the US administration’s unjust decision to include Cuba on the black list of countries sponsoring terrorism, saying that this decision “is meaningless and contradicts the reality and the nature of Cuba’s domestic and foreign policies.”

The party pointed out that “this decision is a preliminary endeavor by the American administration to invent reasons for the continuation of its aggressive policy towards Cuba.”

The Slovak Communist Party stressed last Thursday that the United States imposed coercive economic measures against countries that did not submit to its will, a violation of the democracy it boasts.

The former Slovak Prime Minister and Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Samir Robert Witsu called on the Slovak government not to follow the US foreign policy blindly, warning that this matter harms the interests of Slovakia.

Witzu referred in a comment posted on Facebook about the US administration’s placing Cuba again on the black list of countries sponsoring terrorism that, this action is useless, calling on the Slovak Foreign Ministry to show reservations about this decision.

Witzu also called on the United States to “fix its internal affairs before it gives advice to others.”

On the 11th of this month, the administration of the outgoing US President Donald Trump announced, through Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the re-inclusion of Cuba on the US black list of countries supporting terrorism after the administration of former President Barack Obama removed it from this list.
