United Nations calls on the occupation to stop the demolition of Palestinian homes

New York, (ST) – The United Nations called on the Israeli occupation to stop the demolition of Palestinian homes, stressing that the continuation of these practices undermines any chance for the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Lynn Hastings, said in a statement on Wednesday reported by Wafa Agency that “(Israel) has demolished the Homsa Al-Buqi’acommunity in the northern West Bank five times since the beginning of February despite repeated calls by the international community to stop these measures in accordance with international law.”

Hastings called on the occupation to stop the demolition of Palestinian homes and properties and the seizure of their lands.
