Unidentified Planes Supplying ISIL With Arms From Saudi Arabia

 

TEHRAN – Hussein al-Ramahi, the head of the political commission of Hezbollah brigades in Iraq, disclosed that his forces have discovered Saudi supplied arms and ammunition in areas taken back from ISIL control, adding that the arms aids have been dropped down for the Takfiri terrorists by unidentified planes.

The Iraqi security and popular forces have discovered Saudi-supplied weapons in regions liberated from ISIL control,” Ramahi told FNA on Saturday.

 

He reiterated that unknown airplanes had supplied the ISIL with the weapons in coordination with the US.

We have discovered boxes containing weapons and equipment with Saudi names and labels on them …,” he added.

Earlier this week, a senior Iraqi legislator lashed out at the western countries and their regional allies for supporting Takfiri terrorists in Iraq, complaining that the coalition is the main cause of ISIL’s survival in Iraq.

The international coalition is only an excuse for protecting the ISIL and helping the terrorist groups with equipment and weapons,” Jome Divan, who is member of the al-Sadr bloc in the Iraqi parliament, said.

He said the coalition’s support for the ISIL is now evident to everyone, and continued, “The coalition has not targeted ISIL’s main positions in Iraq.”

Two bombings kill 8 people in Iraq

On the other hand, Iraqi authorities said two separate bombings on commercial streets have killed eight people in and around Baghdad.

Police officials say a bomb exploded Saturday at a wholesale market in Baghdad’s Western district of Baiyaa, killing five people and wounding 11 others.

 

Later on, a bomb blast on a commercial street killed three people and wounded nine others in the town of Madian, about 20 kilometers (14 miles) Southeast of the capital.

Medics confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.

ISIL terrorists attack Iraq’s Al-Muqdadiyahschools – Officials

Local officials in Iraq’s al-Muqdadiyah, a town East of Baghdad, announced the closure of educational institutions to protect students as the ISIL terrorists targeted schools with rockets.

The council has decided to fully close 300 schools and to deprive some 50,000 students of education because of ISIL terrorists,” City Council Chief Adnan al-Tamimi said, al-Shorfa reported.

The decision was made following an emergency meeting of the city council Thursday night, al-Tamimi added.

 

Iraqi bombers pound ISIL positions in Kirkuk

Meanwhile,  Iraqi warplanes hit the targets of the ISIL Takfiri group in the Northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, leaving several terrorists dead.

The Iraqi fighter jets launched several strikes against the Takfiri group in West of Kirkuk, claiming the lives of at least 17 terrorists.  

The security in Iraq has drastically deteriorated since June 10, when bloody clashes broke out between Iraqi security forces and the ISIL.

The country’s army and popular forces have, in a series of operations, started massive attacks against terrorists to liberate occupied areas, mainly Tikrit and Mosul.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.

 

 Army repulses ISIL attack in Iraq’s Anbar

In the same context,Iraqi troops successfully repelled an attack by the ISIL Takfiri group in an area in Anbar Western province, 240 km Northwest of Baghdad.

The Iraqi army inflicted heavy losses on the ISIL in the city of Haditha, as the terrorists attempted to sneak into the area.

Albu Hayat was the epicenter of the clashes where scores of the terrorists lost their lives.

The security in Iraq has drastically deteriorated since June 10, when bloody clashes broke out between Iraqi security forces and the ISIL. The latter later took control of the country’s Northern city of Mosul and seized swathes of territories in Nineveh and other provinces.
