Unidentified persons kidnapp a number of SDF militiamen in al-Shaddadi town, southern Hasaka

On November 23rd, unidentified persons kidnapped a number of armed men from US-backed SDF militias in Al-Shaddadi town, 60kms  southern Hasaka city.

Local sources from the countryside of Al-Shaddadi town said that the SDF militiamen were kidnapped by unknown persons in the Twemeen village, close to al-Shadadi, which had previously recorded several cases of killing  of SDF militiamen.

 

In recent months, the US and SDF-occupied areas in northeast Syria   have witnessed an escalation in attacks launched by unknown persons against the SDF militiamen, causing the death and wounding of dozens of them.
