UNFPA representative in Syria visits University Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Damascus
DAMASCUSM JAN.25, (ST)-Today, Representative of the United Nations Population Fund ( UNFPA) in Syria, Ms. Muriel Mafico, visited University Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Damascus.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Ms. Mafico, accompanied by the Director of Damascus Health Directorate, Dr. Mohammad Akram Maatouq, toured the hospital departments, to inspect health services being provided there and to have an idea about problems and shortcomings.
After the tour, a meeting was held with the hospital administration and staff, during which the current health problems and ways to solve them were reviewed.
