UNESCO includes Al-Qudud Al-Halabi on the list of human heritage

Damascus, (ST) – On Wednesday, UNESCO includedAl-Qudud Al-Halabi on the list of human heritage, during the meeting of the sixteenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in France.

 Following the issuance of the decision, the Ministry of Culture issued a statement, saying that, with this announcement, a part of the culture and heritage of the ancient Syrian society is added to the global human heritage.

The Ministry of Culture expressed its thanks to the people of the country who love their Al-Qudud Al-Halabi for their support in registering it on the list of human heritage.

The ministry thanked the Syrian Trust for Development for its great efforts in preparing the Al-Qudoud file and following it up at UNESCO.
