Under the patronage of President al-Assad, conference of the Arab Teachers Union in Damascus kickoff

Damascus, (ST) – Under the patronage of President Bashar Al-Assad, the activities of the twentieth General Conference of theUnion of Arab teachers in Damascus was launched today with the participation of delegations from 13 Arab countries in Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus. The slogan of the conference is “steadfastness and Resistance are the role of Arab teachers in protecting the national identity to face challenges until liberation and victory.”

 

The participants will discuss, over a period of three days, the reality of the educational process in the Arab world and ways to develop it and address the difficulties it faces, in addition to cooperative relations between members of the Union and the election of a new general secretariat for the Union.

The conference will be accompanied by a campaign of afforestation and the opening of Bunat al-Ajial Medical Center in Mazzeh, in addition to the presentation of documentary films.
