Under the auspices of President al-Assad, the graduation of a new batch of female students from the Military College for Girls

Under the patronage of President Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and on the occasion of the forty-ninth anniversary of the October Liberation War, celebrations have been held to mark the graduation of a new batch of female military college students.

On behalf of President al-Assad, Major General, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, was received at the main entrance by the director of the college, and a number of senior officers of the General Command.

The celebration began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, and army music was played, the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic, followed by a military parade in which the college courses participated.

The Major General, the representative of the sponsor of the celebration, delivered a speech in which he conveyed to the graduates the congratulations of President al-Assad, and his wishes for lasting success and continued excellence in performing their national tasks, along with the comrades of faith and arms who express the truest expression of loyalty and belonging to the dear homeland.

The representative of the sponsor of the celebration stressed that our honorable present is a living extension of our ancient history that is full of pages of glory, heroism and pride, and that our history, with its achievements and epics, must always remain present in conscience as a guide to action, leading to the bright future that we all want for our children and future generations, a future whose titles of dignity and honor are behind the banner of our beloved leader and the symbol of our pride and majesty, Mr. President, Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad.

The Director of the Military College for Girls also delivered a speech in which she recommended that the female students continue to make efforts to develop knowledge and expertise, to remain pioneers and distinguished in their specializations. After that, a ceremony of handing over and receiving the flag took place. Then the graduates took the military oath, the order of success was read later, and naming the course after the heroic martyr, Captain Lina Raif Marzi, in reverence for the martyrdom and in honor of the martyrs. After that, symbolic gifts were distributed to the graduates, then the first student presented the course shield to the general representative of the sponsor of the celebration, as a token of loyalty and sincerity.

The celebration concluded with the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic.
