Under the auspices of President al-Assad, 27th conference of GFTU kicks off

Damascus (ST):  Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad, the deliberations of the 27th General Conference of the General Federations of Trade Unions starts today at al-Fayha’a sports city with the participation of Arab and foreign delegations.

About 479 delegates representing trade unions in the governorates and the vocational unions are taking part in the conference which will last until February 16.

The economic and services reports submitted by the executive bureau will be discussed during the event.

During the conference, there will be a stand in support of workers in occupied Palestine and Golan in confrontation of the notorious deal of the century. The stand will also touch upon the steadfastness of our people of the occupied Syrian Golan on the 38th anniversary of their rejection of the Israeli identity.
