Under President Al-Assad Auspices: Prime Minister Opened services, industrial projects worth 24 billion SP in Lattakia
LATTAKIA,(ST)_ Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad , and marking the 44th anniversary of the correction movement, Prime Minister Dr. Wael Halaqi yesterday opened several service , development and industrial projects and laid foundation stones for other projects in Lattakia province ,at a total value 24 billion Syrian pounds.
Opening Tishreen University Hospital, the Prime Minister stressed that it “constitutes a qualitative leap at the medical level in Syria and the region.”
The hospital which was carried out by the military Housing establishment cost 18 billion Syrian pounds (SP) includes 852 beds , a center for chemical processing and radial and 202 service apartments for modern medical equipment and devices 27- operation rooms and 87 outpatient clinics.
The prime minister also opened the sewage treatment plant for Ein-al-Laban Gandaria axis at a total value of 85 million SP contains two reservoirs , each is of 1 thousand cubic meters capacity in Ein al-Tine and Sheikh Mubarak villages at Beit Yashout axis worthy 20 million SP
In Qirdaha city, the Prime Minister opened the tobacco warehouses project , carried out by the Military Housing Establishment with a total value of 478 million SP and provides 250 jobs.
In Jebleh city, the prime minister opened a molasses tobacco production factory at a productivity of 4.5 tons per month with a total value of 10 million pounds , providing 130 jobs unwrapped papers facility at 120 million SP which provides 40 jobs .
The prime minister also laid the foundation stone for Lawadicia tourist complex, which is located on the sea bay northern city of Lattakia to be implemented by the general company for reconstruction at a total value of 5.4 billion SP for retired engineers in Syria . The project consists of seventeen – floor building and lounge for celebrations, restaurants, sports stadiums and swimming pools , a health center and chalets comprising 554 beds.
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the expansion project at passengers lounge of martyrs Bassel al-Assad airport at a total value of 226 SP and 325 million SP for the airport air navigation project .
The Prime minister visited the tomb of late President Hafez al-Assad in Qirdahah area where he laid a wreath of flowers and recited verses of the holy Koran. “The eternal leader is still with us in our hearts and memory, symbolizing steadfastness , resistance and the creative builder of modern Syria,” the Premier wrote eulogizing the late President in the visitors book.
In his tour the prime minister was accompanied by deputy prime minister for services affairs and minister of local administration , the ministers of public works, industry, higher education, water resources, housing and urban development, transportation , Lattakia governor and Baath Party secretary , several managers public sector companies, and officials concerned.
