Under patronage of President Al-Assad, excelled sons of the military staff and martyrs are honored

Under the patronage of Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed forces, President Bashar Al-Assad, ceremonies of honor were held in a number of provinces for the excelled sons of serving and retired military personnel, martyrs, missing persons, and the wounded with total disability who succeeded in the secondary certificate exams in all its branches and basic education for the year 2021.

 

A number of senior officers of the General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces, governors, directors of education, heads of veteran’s associations and offices of martyr’s affairs, in addition to the families of outstanding students, participated in the celebrations.

Speeches were delivered affirming that, “we live today in a time in which there is no place but for the strong, therefore it is necessary to possess science and knowledge and keep pace with the findings of scientific research,”.

The participants stressed that a homeland, whose its civilization and heritage inspired the peoples of the civilized world, is a homeland worthy of glory, freedom and victory.

The excelled students expressed their proud of President Al-Assad’s  honor and his constant care for the outstanding sons of the serving and retired military personnel, the martyrs, the missing and the wounded, which constitutes a momentum for them to exert more efforts and diligence for the sake of the country’s development.
