Unconfirmed reports of the death of terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who is created by the US intelligence

Washington ( ST)-  The US military carried out an operation targeting the Islamic State terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Saturday evening, Newsweek magazine quoted an American official as saying, without being able to confirm whether the operation was successful.

According to the US official who asked not to be identified, the magazine said that the operation was carried out in the province of Idlib in northwestern Syria by special operations forces after it had received intelligence on Baghdadi’s whereabouts.

This announcement brings back to mind the US administration’s process of killing al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden,  who was created by the United States in Afghanistan and was disposed of at the end of his mission , burying with him the secrets of the relationship with Washington.

The White House spokesman Hogan Gedley said late on Saturday that Trump is planning to make a keynote statement at the White House at 01:00 GMT, Reuters said.

US television networks CNN and ABC reported earlier today that Baghdadi was probably killed in a US raid in Idlib.

CNN said that the US military is conducting tests before officially confirming Baghdadi’s death, while a US media quoted several government sources as saying that Baghdadi might have killed himself with a suicide vest when US special forces attacked his position.

The confirmation of al-Baghdadi’s death in Idlib raises a big question about the parties and states that supported him throughout that period, most important of all the Turkish regime, which has consistently defended the terrorist groups in Idlib and has been trying to secure them for years.

Several media outlets reported that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton acknowledged in memos years ago that a number of Western countries, including the United States, were responsible for creating, financing, supplying and supporting  Daesh terrorist organization.

The killing of al-Baghdadi by US forces does not mean that the US administration and the supporters of terrorism in Syria are exonerated from the creation of terrorist organizations with the aim of destabilizing countries that are not satisfied with Washington.
