UN welcomes the integration of the SDF into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic

Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During his daily press conference, as reported by the United Nations website, Dujarric clarified that the process of delivering cross-border aid into Syria is continuing, as part of ongoing efforts with UN partners to mobilize support for those in need.

In the same context, Dujarric noted the international organization’s welcome of Syria’s formation of the Independent National Commission of Inquiry and Fact-Finding into the events in the Syrian Coast.
