UN Mission’s Discussions in Damascus Thorough, Fruitful: Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS, (ST)- A press release issued jointly by the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry and the United Nations on the visit of the UN delegation to Damascus stressed that discussions were thorough and fruitful and that they led to an agreement on how to proceed in the mission.

The statement said that “invited by the Syrian Arab Republic, the UN Higher Representative for Disarmament Affairs, accompanied by the Head of the UN Investigation Committee, visited Damascus on July 24th and 25th and met with the Foreign Minister and his deputy to discuss the mission’s task in the country.”
