UN Envoy Holds Talks with Syrian Opposition Parties
DAMASCUS, (S.T)_UN Envoy to Syria, al-Ekhdar al-Ibrahimi, held on Monday evening talks with the Syrian National Democratic Bloc(SNDB) at Dama Rose in Damascus.
The discussions, according to participants’ remarks to SANA, focused upon the bloc’s vision to deal with the Syrian crisis.
The 13-party bloc criticized the International Community’s shrug the voice of opposition inside Syria off and adoption of the outside opposition’s viewpoint which calls for foreign intervention.
Moreover, the participants stressed that the outside opposition’s viewpoint doesn’t represent the Syrians’, calling for halting violence by all sides.
They appealed to the UN envoy to play a key role in putting pressure on the countries which are supporting the armed terrorist groups to end bloodshed in Syria.
