UN condemns terrorist bombing in Manbij

The United Nations condemned the terrorist bombing that took place the day before yesterday in the city of Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which led to the martyrdom of 20 citizens and the injury of others, most of them were women.

The UN website reported that the UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric reiterated in his daily press conference the need for all parties to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law to protect civilians, saying that, civilians and civilian infrastructure should never be targeted.

On the humanitarian front, the UN spokesman added: The United Nations and its partners continue to provide assistance and expand the scope of UN assessment and monitoring missions, wherever security conditions permit.
