Ukrainians die to make profits for US arms companies, says Czech parliamentarian

Prague-(ST)- A member of the Czech Parliament, Jaroslav Voldina considered that Ukrainians on Tuesday are not fighting and dying in defense of their country, but in order for American arms companies, transnational companies, and rich elites to achieve more profits.

Voldina said in an interview with the Parliamentary Papers website: “Any new support for Ukraine will only mean more victims, which is what Western countries want from this conflict”. He pointed out that the leaked documents from the Pentagon confirm that Ukraine will not be able to win the ongoing war in it and that its continuation as a state depends on financial and material support from abroad.

On the other hand, the former Slovak Prime Minister, head of the Social Democratic Smyr Party, Robert Fico warned against the inclusion of Ukraine in NATO. He stressed that this represents a dangerous escalation of tension and a violation of the agreements reached by the United States with Russia in the nineties of the last century.

“Only those who want an open war between NATO and Russia can support Ukraine’s membership in NATO,” Fico added in a post on his Facebook page.

Fico stressed his party’s rejection of this accession, describing it as a worst scenario.
