The Ukrainian extremist group Azov opened fire today on a civilian car transporting citizens, including children, who tried to leave the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
Russia Today reported that some people were wounded with gunfire, while the extremists threatened to kill the civilians before they were allowed to leave towards the village of Sartana.
In a related context, the People’s Forces Command in the Donetsk Republic said that 80 miners were stuck in the Skochinskil Coal Mine in Donetsk after it was subjected to Ukrainian bombardment.
A statement by the People’s Forces Command in the Donetsk Republic stated that the Ukrainian bombing caused the disruption of the ventilation holes and the detention of 80 miners underground, noting that the specialists were carrying out repair and restoration work and trying to rescue the workers.
In turn, the regional defense headquarters of the Donetsk Republic reported that eighty-three people, including six children, were evacuated during the past day from Mariupol and Volnovakha to the Donetsk People’s Republic.
