Ukrainian attacks on the vicinity of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant are international terrorism, says Russian official
Moscow, (ST) – Acting Governor of the Russian Zaporozhye Province, Yevgeny Paletsky affirmed that the continuous attacks of the Kiev regime forces on the vicinity of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant represent “international terrorism”.
“Today marks the 37th anniversary of the accident that occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It is a sad date for the entire CIS when the world suddenly became on the brink of a nuclear catastrophe, when hundreds of lives were lost and thousands became Victims of deadly radiation, Paletsky said.
Paletsky added that today we see that the collective West controling the leadership of the Kiev regime and supplying Nazi Ukraine with weapons puts the world on the brink of another atomic catastrophe. He stressed that such a catastrophe cannot be allowed to happen again.
The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, is located in the city of Energodar on the left bank of the Dnieper River, and has been under the control of Russian forces since March 2022.
