Ukraine Welcomes the Formation of the New Syrian Government

Ukraine has welcomed the formation of the new government in Syria, considering this step an important development within the comprehensive national process of the country.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement reported by the Ukrainian news agency: “This step is another significant phase within the framework of the comprehensive national process that began with the convening of the National Dialogue Conference and the adoption of the constitutional declaration.”

It emphasized that building strong state institutions based on inclusivity will lead to the implementation of the reforms that the Syrian people aspire to and will prevent any external interference or attempts to destabilize the country.

The ministry reiterated Ukraine’s support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Syria, affirming Kiev’s readiness to develop cooperation with Damascus and continue supporting the Syrian people in their journey towards stability and development.
