UAE Red Crescent sends Covid-19 vaccines to Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)_UAE Red Crescent has sent medical aid to Syria with the aim of propping up the Syrian health sector to confront Covid-19 pandemic. 
 
According to the Ministry of Health , the medical aid that arrived on Thursday to Damascus includes  covid-19 vaccines which are part of several aid shipments being offered by the UAE Red Crescent to the people of Syria. 
 
Yesterday, the Health Minister Dr. Hasan Al-Ghabbash announced that Syria launched covid-19 vaccine campaign since February, pointing out that  2500 people working in health sector were vaccines while 3767 workers were trained to vaccine people.
