UAE, Oman condems Israeli aggression on Iranian Consulate in Damascus

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has condemned the terrorist Israeli attack that targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus.

The Emirati News agency quoted the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as saying in a statement “the United Arab Emirates condemns targeting the Iranian diplomatic mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus,”.

Oman also condemned the Israeli terrorist attack, stressing that it was a violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and all international diplomatic laws and immunities calling for the protection of diplomatic and consular missions.

In a statement reported by the Omani News Agency, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to stop the escalation in the region and to reject aggression and other actions that threaten the security and stability, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

Earlier today, the Israeli enemy carried out a terrorist attack targeting the Iranian consulate building in Damascus which led to the martyrdom of a number of innocent people.
