UAE Foreign Minister confirms to his counterparts in Egypt, Iraq and Jordan the UAE’s supportive position towards Syria in confronting extremism and terrorism

Yesterday, during phone calls, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the situation in the region and its repercussions on regional security and peace with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi and Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aati.

The Emirates News Agency reported that Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed discussed the current developments in Syria during the calls. He stressed the UAE’s supportive stance towards sisterly Syria in confronting extremism and terrorism.
