UAE Condemns The Ongoing Israeli Occupation Massacres In Gaza Strip

Abu Dhabi-(ST)- The United Arab of Emirates condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing Israeli massacres and violations in the Gaza Strip, the most recent of which was the targeting of displaced persons’ tents in Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of innocent civilians.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in a statement the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressing the importance of protecting civilians and civil institutions in accordance with international law and international treaties.

The Ministry called for the need to ensure that humanitarian, relief and medical aid reaches the Palestinians in  Gaza Strip urgently, intensively, safely and without any obstacles.

It also called on the international community to make every effort to avoid further inflaming the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, and to advance all efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace.

The number of victims of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation yesterday, Saturday, in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, reached at least 90 martyrs, and 300 others were injured.

22 others were also martyred in a similar massacre in Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza.
