U.S. State Department: The formation of the transitional government will hopefully be positive step towards an inclusive Syria

The U.S. State Department expressed hope that the formation of the transitional government would be a positive step towards an inclusive and representative Syria.

The U.S. Embassy in Damascus posted a comment from State Department spokesperson Tami Bruce on its X platform, stating: “We acknowledge the suffering of the Syrian people who have endured decades under the oppressive Assad regime, and we hope that the formation of the transitional government represents a positive step towards an inclusive and representative Syria.”
