U.S. occupation’s strikes on Hasaka city caused massive damage to educational buildings- Hasakah Governor
HASAKAH, Feb.1, (ST)- Hasakah Governor Ghassan Khalil declared on Tuesday that the strikes that had been carried out by the U.S. occupation over the past days under the pretext of pursuing escaped prisoners caused massive damage to educational buildings in the south of Hasakah city.
Khalil told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the US occupation’s strikes caused damage to the buildings of Civil Engineering Faculty, Economy Faculty and the Institute of Engineering.
“The building of the Institute of Engineering, 3 auditoriums, Library of Physics, Administration department at Al-Forat University and other departments were completely damaged,” he clarified.
On the 20th of January, the U.S. occupation forces struck buildings and houses in the vicinity of the “Al-Thanaweyeh Al-Senaeyrh” prison in Gweran neighborhood in Hasakah city under the pretext of pursuing escaped prisoners.
