U-18 wrestling team to compete in Lebanon

DAMASCUS, (ST) – The U-18 Syrian national wrestling team(free-style and Greco-Roman wrestling) have left for Lebanon to take part in the U-18 West Asia Wrestling Championship .

 

The Greco-Roman wrestling team includes: Mohammad  Sibai , Ahmad Hasoun, Abdul Kareem Hasan, Bilal Hasan, Abdul Malik Ishat, Abdula  Tahan and Abdul Rahman Abras.

The free-style wrestling team includes: Abdul Fatah bani Marja, Mohammad Munajid, Mohammad Tayan, Muhy eddin Mardini, Ahmad Bakri,Ahmad al-Hams and Bilal Homsi.

It is to be noted that the national team captured 16 varied medals in the West Asia Championship which was held in Beirut early this year.
