Two women die, a child injured after being run over by a water tanker in Al-Hawl Camp

Two women died and a girl child was injured after a water tanker that belongs to a foreign organization working illegally in the Syrian territories ran over them in Al-Hawl refugee camp in Hasaka eastern countryside.

The camp is controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Militia.

Local sources said that the water tanker suddenly stormed into one of the tents inside the camp and ran over two women and a girl child.

During the past two days, the camp witnessed the death of a child as a result of a similar accident by a water tanker. Also, several residents in the camp suffered from minor burns after a number of tents caught fire, according to the sources.

The American occupation forces and the SDF militia are holding thousands of displaced Syrians inside Al-Hawl camp within tragic conditions that may cause a humanitarian catastrophe in light of the sharp shortage of water, medicine, food, security and other elements of survival.
