Two US-backed SDF militants killed in separate attacks in Hasaka countryside

HASAKA, (ST)-  Unidentified persons opened their machineguns fire at a group of militants affiliated to the US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the al-Howl camp in Hasaka eastern countryside, killing a militant and injuring several others, according to local sources.

Several cars, equipped with machineguns and accompanied by an ambulance were sent by the SDF militia to cordon off the attack site, the sources pointed out.

Another SDF militant was also killed when an explosive device, placed by unknown persons, went off in Tal al-Shayer area, to the southeast of Hasaka, the sources added.

On Thursday, two gunmen from the SDF militia were also killed in an attack by unidentified persons on a military car carrying militants near al-Jurthi village in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.
