Tartous – Two terrorist suicide bombers blew themselves with explosive belts up on the seaside corniche in Tartous after midnight.

SANA said that a security patrol intercepted two suspicious individuals who blew themselves up using explosive belts they were wearing at the seaside corniche, which claimed the lives of two of the patrol’s members.

The authorities are investigating the issue to uncover those who planned this terrorist attack.

Tartous Governor Safwan Abu Saadi visited the site of the attack, affirming that the authorities’ constant vigilance and watchfulness prevented the terrorists from reaching crowded areas and thereby saved civilian lives.
