Two terrorist operations by ISIS thwarted in Salah Al-Din and Anbar

Baghdad (ST): The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces foiled two terrorist operations of the “ISIS” organization in the governorates of Salah Al-Din and Anbar.

In a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, the Mobilization Media Directorate stated that a force from the 42nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces confronted an infiltration operation for remnants of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the Sayed Gharib sector in Salah al-Din Governorate, in which the terrorists used cars and motorcycles.

The directorate indicated that the mobilization forces thwarted a terrorist attempt to bomb the public street linking the Al-Qaim and Akashat districts in Anbar Governorate, explaining that the engineering personnel succeeded in detonating a double device in the street.
