Two Successful Open Heart Operations in Hama

The Department of Coronary Cardiac Surgery at Hama National Hospital conducted two successful open heart operations to be the first of its kind at the level of public sector hospitals in the city of Hama.

Dr. Salim Khallouf, director of the hospital said in a statement to SANA said that the new department conducted “two successful surgical operations by a qualified and trained team.”

Dr.Khallouf pointed out that the Ministry of Health provided the department with the modern medical equipments . The new section will offer free treatment to the patients in the cities of Homs and Hama.
