The Director of the Institute for Political and Social Studies of the Black Sea and Caspian Regions Victor Nadin Raevsky has said that the Syrian government has the right to eradicate terrorism from its soil.
Raevsky added that the Syrian Arab army’s victories over terrorist organizations have increased the madness of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In an interview with the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)correspondent in Moscow on February 10, Raevsky said that the Syrians are determined to root out terrorism from their country and this does not cause any threat to the security of Turkey, which sent the terrorists to Syria.
Raevski added that the Turkish regime is crying over the displaced from Syria due to terrorism, forgetting that its recruitment and support for terrorists is the main reason for the suffering of these displaced people.
In a similar interview, a Member of the Russian Council for International Affairs Ruslan Mamedov pointed out that international resolutions affirm Syria’s right to regain control of its entire territory, explaining that the operations of the Syrian Arab Army against terrorists are proceeding in this framework.
Mamedov stressed the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to implement the Astana and Sochi Agreements that preserve Syrian unity and sovereignty over all of its territory.
