Two policemen martyred in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Quneitra province

Two policemen were martyred on Monday in an attack by unidentified gunmen while performing their national duty.

In a statement, unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened direct gunfire on Lieutenant Muhammad Sami Ebeidan and Lieutenant Rabi’ Ali Wassouf from the Quneitra Police Command – Nabe’ Al-Sakhr Police Station, leading to their martyrdom at the town’s square while they were doing their duty.

The ministry indicated that the

internal security forces are currently chasing up the attackers who fled the scene immediately.
