Two Palestinians martyred, several others injured in Israeli occupation attack on Jenin

Two Palestinians were martyred and at least 11 others were injured this morning in an attack by the Israeli occupation forces on Jenin camp, north of the occupied West Bank.

WAFA News Agency reported on Saturday citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health that Ahmad Mohammad Daraghmeh and Mahmoud Al-Sous, both 17 years old, were shot dead by live shots in the head and neck respectively, while 11 others were injured during an Israeli occupation raid on Jenin and its camp.

The agency pointed out that the occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the camp to help the injured and didn’t allow journalists to enter the camp to cover events with Israeli military helicopters flying at low altitude over the camp and its vicinity.

Three of the injured Palestinians are in a serious condition, according to WAFA.

On September 28th, the Israeli occupation forces stormed into Jenin city and its camp and broke into the houses amid heavy gunfire. The occupation forces targeted the house of martyr Raad Hazim, killing his brother as well as two other Palestinians and injuring 44 others.

Occupation prevents Palestinian farmers from harvesting their olive crops in Nablus

Israeli occupation forces today prevented Palestinian farmers from harvesting their olive crops in the northern West Bank village of Awarta, southeast of Nablus, according to local sources.

Ghassan Daghlas, a local activist, told WAFA that the Israeli forces prevented the Palestinian farmers from working on their land in the eastern area of the village and forced them to leave it.

The Israeli occupation forces and extremist settlers have intensified their attacks against Palestinian farmers and lands in the occupied West Bank, particularly during the annual olive harvest season, burning and destroying trees and preventing farmers at gunpoint from harvesting their crops.

The olive harvest season is very important for thousands of Palestinians in the occupied territories whose income depends heavily on the success of this season, according to WAFA.
