OCCUPIED ALQUDS, April.20, (ST)-Two Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli occupation jails continue with their open hunger strike in protest against the continuous crimes of the occupation against the prisoners.
Wafa news agency reported on Wednesday that the prisoner, Khalil Awawda, 40, continues his strike for the 48th day, amid the deterioration of his health, as he suffers from headaches and joint pain, wasting, exhaustion, and an irregular heartbeat. While the 27-year-old prisoner, Raed Rayan, continues his strike for the 14th day.
The occupation deliberately continues to use the policy of medical neglect against sick prisoners and delays in providing the necessary treatment to them, especially since there are a number of difficult medical cases among the prisoners that require urgent medical interventions.
